Yesterday, Senator Van hosted his July roundtable, discussing a range of foreign affairs issues challenging the geopolitical environment. Consul Generals from Chile, Pakistan, Poland, UK, Japan, Morocco, Egypt, Philippines, Guatemala and Malta attended.

Robust conversations were held about the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the conflict in the Middle East and it’s impact on the rest of the world. The discussions covered recent changes of Government in various countries and their implications for trade, aid packages and migration.
