Ukraine calls for support from Australia

A group of visiting Ukrainian security experts is urging Australia to step up assistance and co-operation to help defeat Russia's invasion, warning local officials that China is closely watching events in Europe.

To date, Australia's donated around 960 million dollars to the war effort, but the Government's refusal to re-open an embassy in the capital Kiev continues to cause frustration.
