The Morrison Government is funding research to reduce waste going to landfill and transform reclaimed waste.

Senator David Van, Senator for Victoria, said Monday’s National Plastics Summit, attended by more than 200 representatives from local and global businesses, state and local government, industry and community sectors has set the tone for the future of plastic waste management in Australia.

Senator for Victoria, David Van, has used a speech in the Senate to call for Australia to become a global leader in the phasing-out of single use plastics such as plastic bags, foam cups and plastic bottles.
