UK/Australia Season Celebration
Tonight I was thrilled to join Her Excellency the British High Commissioner Vicki Treadell, Consul-General Steph Lysaght and the Governor of Victoria the Honourable Linda Dessau AC at the UK/Australia Season Celebration. It was a delightful cultural evening at the Melbourne Museum.
Earlier in the week I caught up with Steph and his team to discuss how we can further deepen the relationship between Australia and Britain. AUKUS is a great step forward in our countries’ relationship and I look forward to furthering ties in other important areas such as education, culture, sport, trade and tourism.
