Senator for Victoria, Senator David Van, has chaired a diplomacy roundtable teleconference, attended by consul-generals representing over 30 countries. The discussion during the roundtable focussed on immediate issues arising from COVID-19 and how to work together on trade to best rebuild economies.

I was devastated to learn of the passing of three people from COVID-19 in my home state of Victoria over the last 24 hours, marking the first lives lost to coronavirus in Victoria.
